One out of over 1700 yellow angels across Germany is currently not in use. We want to take advantage of this rare moment to take a look at Rafael\u2019s ADAC-Zafira roadside assistance vehicle. With over 300kg of equipment on board, he is on the go with Team Schnell every day and lends a hand, his equipment, and his know-how with heart and mind.<\/p>\n

His equipment includes over 600 tools, spare parts, and accessories. This also includes diagnostic devices, jump-starters, compressors, and safety materials to secure accident sites as well as a first aid kit. Sometimes the simplest things are the most important, be it a fuse for a vehicle\u2019s electric system, fuel to get you to the next gas station, or an extra tire. Often, however, more demanding solutions are needed, and Rafael must dig into his toolbox and diagnose the problem. Either the solution can be fixed on site, or the vehicle will have to be towed to the next specialist workshop.<\/p>\n

Alle Fahrzeuge vom Team Schnell sind mit einer umfangreichen Kommunikationstechnik inkl. GPS zur Standortermittlung ausgestattet. Dadurch k\u00f6nnen unsere Disponenten \u00fcber Funk den n\u00e4chsten Einsatzauftrag von der Zentrale erhalten und direkt durchstellen. Nach einem Pannenruf in der entsprechenden Region, kann somit Rafael, oder das n\u00e4chstgelegene freie Stra\u00dfenwachtfahrzeug anr\u00fccken<\/p>\n

Die Eins\u00e4tze unserer Gelben Engel werden f\u00fcr die Region Berlin-Brandenburg von der Zentrale Genshagen (bei Berlin) aus gesteuert. Damit die ADAC Flotte auch technisch stets auf dem neuesten Stand ist und bleibt, werden jedes Jahr ca. 220 Fahrzeuge ersetzt. Schlie\u00dflich werden die Anforderungen an die Fahrzeugtechnik immer komplexer und differenzierter. Jedes neue Fahrzeugmodell durchl\u00e4uft dabei ein anspruchsvolles Abnahmeverfahren und wird sogar einem hausinternen ADAC-Crashtest unterzogen. Die Sicherheit unserer Fahrzeuge, zum Schutz der Stra\u00dfenwachtfahrer und alle anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer, steht f\u00fcr den ADAC dabei stets im Vordergrund.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
